Avoid getting ripped-off by scammers and fraudulent ebayers. This video shows you the latest scam in eBay motors. Scammers attempt to steal downpayments and usernames and passwords from ebay users by posting fake motorcycle listings. This are typically expired listings that the scammers relist.

    yeah id only buy stuff like atv’s and pocket bikes and dirt bikes from giovanni they good company and if they scam u sue them

    I was just scammed $12400 for 2 motorbikes by the same seller but the URL never changed to something wierd. I was told I had $20000 buyer protection but thats only with paypal not with the money transfer I used even though it said I did.

    Today I was almost scammed by one of these scammers. I was going to buy a 2007 Honda CBR600RR. For some reason I decided to check youtube lol. sure enough this video saved me $4000. THANKS!!

    Sorry, I don’t remember. I’m almost sure the member had a 100% positive since I would not buy a bike from someone with less. I have purchased 2 bikes and a SUV off eBay.

    That is very helpful and I don’t understand why eBay isn’t keeping people informed about this stuff. I have had that happen a few times where I was asked to sign in. Thank goodness I didn’t. Thank you for keeping us updated. I’ll watch that URL

    Yes this is called Physhing and its very dangerous. Always check what URL is appearing on the top when giving away user id and pass.

    excellent mike, ive bought 3 on ebay and been lucky but id never heard of this , a good reason to change passwords periodically.

    The lesson is be an educated buyer no matter where you buy. There are crooks everywhere, not just on ebay.
